Recorded during May/June 2008 in Piha, Titirangi and at KOG studios in Kingsland, Auckland, the Mamaku Project’s warmly awaited sophomore album answers to the festive cadence of their live show over the past two years. A feverish tapestry of bohemian melodies grabbing up-beats and electro by the hand, tempered by a cluster of deep ballads – A brilliant bilingual forage into themes of a disquiet earth…
